Description

At 9 AM on 10 Aug a White-winged Dove flew into our yard and remained for 20 minutes. It was a hatching year bird based on the clean-cut flight feathers and broad buffy edges to the primaries. This is the 8th record for Owens Valley (Bishop to Little Lake)and a heck of a yard bird!
