Monday 21st Oct. at furnace creek: 1 white throated sparrow, 1 clay colored sparrow (another at Panamint springs), a mountain bluebird, varied thrush, evening grosbeak, merlin and cassin's finch. 5 lewis woodpeckers, 2 red-=naped and one yellow bellied sapsucker. There were many western bluebirds at shoshone and a red-breasted sapsucker at china ranch.
