Description

A Swamp Sparrow appears to be wintering at Mono Lake County Park, it has been at the boardwalk's terminus for nearly a month and a half now. Gaines writes that they will occasionally do just this (though I'm not sure if the boardwalk was there back then - it must be the habitat. Also this morning, a HY Cooper's Hawk calling, I have never heard one vocalize before. Finally, a Red-breasted X Red-naped Sapsucker intergrade in Mono City, leaning towards RBSA from the amount of red on its upper chest.
