On 17 June two Yellow-billed Cuckoos were seen and heard singing at Sanger Slough about 1/4-1/2 mile from Tinemaha Reservoir accessed from the east side. Also interesting were a pair of Western Grebes, 3 Great Egrets, 1 Snowy Egret, and 1 adult Black-crowned Night Heron. The male Canvasback appears to be summering. A Cooper's Hawk was seen along the river.
