Next to AMAV; short, straight,"stout" bill; bent over feeding on mudflat; DARK back, feather edges not obvious; fairly strong supercilliary stripe; overall darkish bird with slightly darker underside. Sun behind, Leica scope. Distance ~100feet. Juvenile/adult nonbreeding
