Sighting

Had a couple of hours after work in the Mono Basin and stopped in at Mono Lake Park. Northern Waterthrush (pair) in dead willows between end of boardwalk and lake. Ruby-crowned Kinglet at small stream that flows through park adjacent to parking lot. Other birds spotted include numerous eared grebes, a few horned grebes, northern shovelers, canvasbacks, ruddy ducks, killdeer, California Gulls, Downy Woodpecker, about a dozen Pinyon Jays, Mountain Chickadees, Bewick's Wren, Orange-crowned and Yellow-rumped Warblers, plus other more common birds.
