Two Hermit Thrushes were seen well at the spring which is just south of the entrance to Silver Cyn. One was also seen there a few days ago. One of the two was a first fall bird having buff tipped greater coverts making a subtle wingbar. Farmers Pond is FULL of water. Few birds though so far. The swallows looked liked 4 Violet-greens but were seen at a distance.
