At ~13:00 on 27Dec03 I observed a single Juniper Titmouse in the thickets between the road and the lower of the Twin Lakes. I assumed it was a Juniper Titmaouse by range. Is this a reasonable assumption? Are Oak Titmice a possiblity in the Eastern Sierra as well? If anyone has any thoughts drop me an email. Also on the lower lake 2 Common Goldeneye, 3 Western Greebs, 2 California Gulls, numerous Common Mergansers, 1 adult Bald Eagle, and a river otter playing in the shallows.
