Breakfast Spread of Sparrows: Harris's, Golden-crowned, Lincoln's, Song

The sun rising so late these winter mornings, it's easy to spread seed while dark in hopes of having a grand display of birds to watch during breakfast. Our hunger for birds was satiated this morning while they satiated theirs on the seed. One continuing adult Harris's, one Lincoln's, two Golden-crowned, three Song, four Spotted Towhees, and the usual breakfast club. Best time to see this crew is between 7:00-7:30 now in the woodpile behind our house, and again just before dusk.
