Sighting

We found the Palm late afternoon just west of the metal bridge west Meadowcreek and East of Dixon Lane. Park car at Greengate (west end of Dixon Lane), walk southeast along canal trail until you reach a metal walking bridge. Cross the bridge walking west and look in large willow just beyond a Russian Olive tree. Nice bird. Bobs its tail & seems to be not so active as the Yellow-rumps near it. This is a paler yellow bird and matches up to the western race of Palm Warbler. The Grosbeaks along with many other migrants were seen earlier in the day in same general area but slightly more westerly by the next walking bridge.
