At the start of a hike today at Glacier Lodge I found Western Tanagers, two Brown Creepers gathering nesting materiel, a single Hairy Woodpecker and a Steller's Jay. Up the trail above the second stream crossing of the north fork was a Wilson's Warbler, Mountain Chickadees, Fox Sparrows, Green-tailed Towhees and several Cowbirds. Continuing on to Grouse Springs I found it very quiet. Just a few Chickadees.
