We have permission to band on Deep Springs land but because of some recent "Private Property, No Trespassing" signs we contacted the President of the College with your question and his response is "Birding is fine here (and has been for years) so long as people respect the privacy of our homes and yards, including the dormitory, etc. We ask that they leave their vehicles on the desert outside the cattle guard, but they are welcome to walk all around." The signs were left over from the hunting season and are not meant for birders.
