While doing a point count this morning at the Adobe Ranch (adobe valley) the very first bird of the day was an amazing singing male Protonotory warbler. Excellent views as he lazily hung out only 15 meters away! About a mile upstream was a singing N. Parula. How many silent females are overlooked?? Unfourtunately this is on private land. Good time to get out!! -Kristie
