Mostly perching in the conifers around the lake, they appeared to be hunting and would swoop out if the gulls had a fish. These eagles are probably eating the leftovers that fishermen leave behind in the shallows or on the shore but we never saw the eagles pick up or steal a fish from the gulls and we did observe for a long stretch. Slim pickins yesterday.
