An update on what's going on in Chalfant - WME. About 5 Rufous hummers hanging around the feeder, 3 Black-headed Grosbeaks at the feeder (1 adult female, 2 immature), the first American Goldfinches i've seen since last spring showed up this morning, the usual Lesser Goldfinches, House Finches and House Sparrows, then all went a bit quiet and while outside wondering why, a Loggerhead Shrike flew about 5 feet over my head and landed in my pine tree - question answered!
