27 Aug 2004; 2:30PM: Jon Dunn just called to report a juvenile LITTLE GULL at the sand spit just north of the Crowley Reservoir Marina. It was in the water immediately south of the spit. There was also an adult basic-plumaged Red Phalarope. Access might be best from the scenic viewpoint pullout on 395, just north of the Crowley overpass. This may be a second county record...Jon had the first one also at Crowley two decades ago.
