An Eastern Kingbird was hanging out with a Western Kingbird along Blackrock Ditch east of the aqueduct this morning. Nice black crown, back, and tail with white tip. White below. Also, a White-breasted Nuthatch was in some willows, also along the ditch. I didn't expect to find it down from the high country so soon! Fall's happnin'.
