Sighting

My first sighting of this bird at my feeder in the Alabama Hills in Lone Pine during the 13 years we have lived here. Also, a tardy report of a probable Sandhill Crane 23 Sept. on the east side of Hwy 395 between the Fish Hatchery road and Stewart Lane. Large, gray-brown bird with white in the head area, lumbering flight, neck stretched straight out. A glimpse only at 65 MPH.
