Sighting

We first saw it flying overhead while sitting at a bench at the duck/goose pond. He then perched briefly in one of the cottonwoods at the pond before heading to the row of cedars(?) along the chain link fence. He stayed low on the trunks, just a couple feet off the ground, prying underneath the bark. We got very close and got great looks. He wasn't at all skittish. Hope he's still there tomorrow. We didn't see any sign of the female that was posted a few weeks ago.
