We visited the Harris Sparrow spot by the Parker's neighborhood in Bishop off of 395 and Barlow but we didn't see it. Upon our return to LA we stopped by Diaz Lake to check out a nesting Swainson's Hawk - NOT. We wandered up Sage Flats Road and didn't find anything rare but Western Scrub Jays, Mountain Bluebirds and Rock Wrens not to mention beautiful wildflowers! We're returning back next weekend for my 15th fieldtrip for LAAS to view dancing chickens - Greater Sage Grouse. If you have any updates on dislaying Blue Grouse, I'd appreciate your dropping a note. Will submit a report afterwards. Happy Birding!
