Sighting

This morning a second-year Blue Grobeak sang at the northern end of the Amargosa Canyon. I thought I heard him on April 25th, but I was always too far away to tell. I saw a Mountain White-crowned Sparrow with the black lores, and juvenile Costa's and Anna's Hummingbirds. Two late-arriving Bell's Vireos males are trying to colonize the area burned in 2002.
