Sighting

I just saw a breeding plumage male WETA here at Amargosa Canyon. It was foraging in a honey mesquite, and is the first one i've seen since spring migration. I wonder if they've started migrating early. The Summer Tanagers that breed nearby the main visitor area at China Ranch just fledged two chicks, and they're chasing their mom through the cottonwoods and willows all day begging and begging.
