Sighting

Yesterday we tackled the dirt rd on the northwest side of the reservoir, it wasn't too bad and well worth it as we got to see over 100 Black Terns circling over the water and resting on a sandbar. Great Egrets and 1-2 Snowies, Least and Western Sandpipers, Greater Yellowlegs, Cal and Ring-billed Gulls, Caspian Terns and high duck numbers. Nothing out of the ordinary but fun to see. The juvenal plumaged Horned Larks were really a challenge!
