Sighting

From the world of color-banding Neotrops, this is sort of cool: I re-sighted an after fifth-year Yellow Warbler male today still on his territory. His nest fledged on July 27, so it’s been about 6 weeks since then. I haven’t seen dependent Yellow Warbler fledges for weeks. It occurred to me that maybe he was injured, but he was easily flying from willow to willow, foraging. Maybe Rush Creek is better than Mexico.
