Chestnut-sided Warbler & Lincoln's Sparrow in Birchim today

Observers: Jim & Debby Parker
Remote Name:
Date: 09/11/2005
Time: 05:09 PM -0400

The warbler was with a flock of brown-eared bushtits and was dull as in a first-fall female. Two white wingbars and not showing the "lime" green across the crown and back except in just the right lighting. White below & up into the chin. White under the tail compared to the gray undertail of the BUTI's. She was found near the lower green gate that separates Birchim proper with the work yard/housing area. Finding the Bushtit flock might help to find this warbler. Also, closer to Hwy 395, near the creek was our FOF Lincoln's Sparrow.
