I observed 3 Slate Colored, Oregon hybrids feeding on the ground at my home in Aspendell over the President's holiday Feb. 17 - 22. I had around 10 juncos that grew to 35 over that period. Others looked like they might be Pink Sided, Oregon hybrids with paler hoods and pinkish cinnamon flanks. The majority of the birds were of the Oregon variety.
