A pair of mallards (male and female) were walking their way through Chalfant yesterday afternoon. They sauntered through my yard front and back and then into the neighbor's horse corral. They had been eating plants and grass. Perhaps they got off track from Fish Slough? There is no running water here except for water buckets, etc. for people's horses.
