black-throated gray warbler

Observers: connie spenger

On the fence at the west end of Millpond campground, just north of the creek, the bird's white supercilium showed like a beacon. I was looking down at an angle from the horse, and all I could make out was that rest of the bird was gray with some black on the head. The bird cocked its tail and was calling churk, sounding a lot like an Audubon's warbler, but lower and clearer.
