Sighting

I saw a flock of over 100 very active birds near the pack station at Glacier Lodge on the morning of 9/24/06 about 7:30 AM flying in and around the big pines in the area. Many of the birds were vigorously attacking cones. I have seen Cedar Waxwings many times in many places and these birds were rather like them, but all seemed larger and and their calls were not all like anything I recall hearing before. I did not have binocs and at the given distance and because of early morning glare I could not see a single topnotch. Could these have been Bohemian Waxwings? Seems unlikely to me given what I have read.
