Female Black-chinned Hummingbird this morning at the feeder this morning. This is a very late bird - Gaines has the latest Black-chinned Hummingbird in Mono County as September 30. Also, a new bird for the yard, a Rock Wren has taken a liking to the four-foot rocky slope between my yard and the yard below. It was out in the morning light doing its customary quick up and down motion.
