Sighting

We spotted a Barn Owl at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Catholic Church in Bishop. If you look up into the belfry you'll see the owl, with scat and pellets at the base of the tower. On Sunland Road we saw a Golden Eagle standing in the alfafa fields eating something. In a tree just off of the road on the west side, was a male Ferruginous Hawk watching. As we got closer to him, he flew off and entertained us with his unusual cry. Seeing him so close, reinforced that this is my favorite hawk.
