Over the past month we have had a very large flock of Mountain Blue Birds in our yard in Knight Manor (Big Pine) and have heard there are a lot at Baker Creek. They have been fascinating to watch, except when the local cats prey on them. Interestingly enough with this cold snap they are sitting on the ground in front of garages, our motorhome and plants trying to keep out of the wind. We keep an eye out for the cats and chase them off when we see them
