Seen flying and perched in a cottonwood tree around 2 PM today, she was east of the Fish Slough dirt road, just n. of the Nik & Nik ponds (north of the office entrance). A falcon with an all dark brown back and wings, reddish streaks on the breast, a supercilium, long wings extending nearly to the tail tip and a black and white, wide-banded tail. A pair of Golden-eagles in the area also.
