Sighting

This morning (31 May) between 6 and 7:30AM, a male Phainopepla and singing male Indigo Bunting were along the ditch just south of the corral. The mulberry adjacent the corral was a bird magnet: a few Black-headed Grosbeak, Lazuli Buntings, American Robins. Overall, Baker was not birdy. A few Yellow Warblers, a singing Warbling Vireo, a couple Western Tanagers, no empids.
