This first winter plumaged Thayer's Gull was found by Jon Dunn at Crowley Reservoir on 17 Nov 2002.  Thayer's is rare in the Eastern Sierra with only a couple records from Crowley Reservoir and two from Tinemaha Reservoir, all in Oct or Nov.
