This will be the third year that a pair of Swainson's Hawks have nested on the island in the lake in front of our home, in Hammil Valley. They seem to be a little later this year. They are busy rebuilding their nest. There has been a pair out by Hwy 6 nesting at the entrance (the past two years) to the ranch, we haven't seen them yet this year.
