This morning the sewer ponds were just hoppin' with birds. Among the more interesting sightings were as many as fifty black terns, a male and female pair of common mergansers, three black crowned night herons(two adult one second spring?), common yellowthroat, a dozen wilson's phalaropes, and a half dozen red-necked phalaropes.
