Birds in the mountains

I saw some neat birds in the mountains this weekend. In Schulman Grove I saw my first Pygmy Nuthacthes, there were also a good number of Mountain Bluebirds. In the Big Pine Lakes area I saw a golden eagle soaring just a few feet off the slopes of the canyon. higher up I saw Townsend's Solitaires, Yellow Rumps (Audubons), Green Tailed Towhees, Fox Sparrows, American Robins (lots), Brown Creeper, Red Breasted Sapsucker, Purple finches, Dark eyed Junco's (lots), and Stellar's Jays. It sure was a great hike!
