This is our famous White Lady that is a stop for bird tour groups who come through this area. You were right that it looked like a Red-tail because she is. Her age is 22 years plus. She mates with normal colored males and is a very successful mother producing 1-2 young every year. Another partial albino has been seen in Round Valley over the last 3 years and may be one of her offspring carrying recessive albinistic genes. To see her in flight is an angelic experience, possibly the only such experience some of us will have. :-)
