On 6/16 went to Lee Vining Canyon. Saw many birds using the nesting boxes there, including Chickadees, Montain Bluebirds, House Wrens, Violet-green Swallows, and Tree Swallows. We also saw a pair of Hairy Woodpeckers, a pair of Red-breasted Sap Suckers, and Flickers all nesting in the aspens. Then along the creek we got to see two baby Dippers being fed by one of the parents. This canyon is a great place for birding right now.
