Tom found the first county record of a Harris's Hawk at the northwest corner of Tinemaha Reservoir this morning. Less than 30 minutes later I was back with him and we searched to no avail. This species is a diurnal migrant so everybody be warned that it could be anywhere in the Owens Valley. If anyone finds this beautiful adult bird please call one person in each town so they can spread the word in that town and the news is out almost instantly. Good luck, Jo :-(
