15 Shorebird Species at Bishop Sewer Ponds

Between two visits, last evening and today at noon, there were....1 juv. Bairds Sandpiper, great view of long wings, really scalloped back; Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs, Short-billed and Long-Billed Dowitchers, Least and Western Sandpipers, Spotted Sand, Solitary Sand, Avocet, White-faced Ibis, Snipe, Killdeer, Wilson's Phalarope, Black-necked Stilt.

Also, had common and lesser nighthawks together yesterday at dusk. Sora have been calling and there seem to be quite a few Shovelers around now. Oh, also, a cormorant landed in the eastern pond/puddle.
