In addition to the ~1500 Horned Larks at Shepherd Creek alfalfa field, today I spotted ~800 at the Fish Springs alfalfa fields. Does anybody know of other Owens Valley locations sporting large numbers of HoLa's. Would anybody be interested in doing a Horned Lark count some time this month, censusing all the Valley alfalfa fields on one day? Respondez to my email address or 878-2222.
