Two Snowy Egrets on flooded field east of Independence at 8 a.m. 4/10/00. Also, adult male Bullock's Oriole and immature (1st spring?) male Hooded Oriole in my yard in Independenc. The Hooded was sipping nectar from the flowers of Prince's Plume.
