One Juvenile Burrowing owl was seen yesterday and today in Redding Canyon. As I watched it today it came out of one burrow stood for a while outside it and then flew a hundred yards to another burrow and before long had entered the second burrow. The burrows can be located along the north side of the road at .6 mi. up from Warm Springs Road. The burrows are so close to the road, however, that is is probably best to park at .5 mi. (just before the telephone poles) and walk up on the south side of the road.
