A full adult male was found with the flock of 10 Lazuli Buntings and pair of Blue Grosbeaks near the entrance. They fly down to the grass growing along the edge of water to feed. Both the male Blue Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting were sitting on the same branch and their colors were easy to compare. The Indigo's blue was of a more turquoise quality and the Blue Grosbeak's blue was more of a purple-blue. The Grosbeak was larger of course and the Indigo was similiar size to the Lazuli Buntings. Spectacular sight to say the least!
