Today, 10 Aug., Mike, Bob and I had nine NOSH at Cottonwood, as well as 13 LBCU. Met a young birder at Cartago looking for a PhD topic. We suggested the flooding of 14 sq. miles of Owens Lake this winter and the anticipated effect on wildlife. Please suggest this to any grad students you know. The more emphasis on wildlife in the midst of dust control the better.
