We found a very young Western Tanager in the road by Paradise Resort. It is being cared for by Cindy Kamler and will be well enough to be released in a couple days, if all goes well. Cindy would like to release it near other Western Tanagers. Has anybody seen any in the Owens Valley or elsewhere lately? We saw Debby's report of seeing them in Death Valley about a week ago. Anything more recent?
