Description

At least four Chestnut-collared Longspurs on Shepherd Creek alfalfa field. That's easy to write, but it is a fun challenge to hear their little piddle-diddle call, then try to follow them in a flock of 500 Horned Larks. With today' s overcast conditions, the white wedges on their tails really stood out. Also present: 100+ American Pipits, 12-13 MoDo, and many hundreds of Savannah Sparrow being harassed by a male Harrier.
