Monday afternoon a full adult male yellow headed blackbird christened our brand new bird feeder with his presence. He was in the company of about 200 Brewers and Red-winged Blackbirds. Stood out like a lightbulb. Listed as "casual" in the Heindel's graphs Dec- Feb: "many years with no records, always seen in very small numbers"
